Second Annual ISEC Conference

7th September, Kingston University, London

In collaboration with Kingston University London, the International Society of Economic Criminology (ISEC) is hosting its second annual conference on 7th September this year. 

This event will bring together leaders from law enforcement, government, industry, civil society and academia, creating a forum to exchange knowledge, share best practice, and develop cross-sector solutions to emerging economic crime challenges. The conference provides a unique opportunity for practitioners to hear world-class research and insights at the forefront of economic criminology and stimulate discussions that tackle your existing real-world challenges.

Conference focus and themes 
We welcome submissions for in-person presentations that provide insights, case studies, practices, evaluations, or applied research on economic crime. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: financial crime, fraud, corruption, money laundering, cyber-enabled crime, emerging technologies, transnational organised crime, public-private partnerships, and victim support. Submissions that demonstrate collaboration between academics and practitioners, or showcase research addressing real-world challenges, are particularly encouraged, supporting the creation of actionable knowledge and cross-sector solutions.

Submission 
-Title of presentation, name and short (100 word max) bio of presenter(s) 
-Abstract outlining the presentation content (150 - 300 words) 
-Submission method: Email to e.carter@kingston.ac.uk 

Language: English. All abstracts will undergo peer review by the ISEC scientific committee, evaluating relevance, originality, methodological rigour, and practical applicability. 

Selected contributions may be included in conference proceedings and invited to contribute to a special issue of the Journal of Economic Criminology, the official journal of ISEC, ensuring that practitioner knowledge is disseminated alongside academic research for long-term impact.
